Incredibly kind owners—a family business that’s clearly rooted in the community. It’s the kind of place you actually want to spend time at. You can sit inside or out (they’ve got A/C), and the food and drink selection is great. It honestly feels like hanging out with long-lost relatives. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

The coffee and food at Ajal Coffee is amazing! They were very gracious and comped my wife and I’s food because of a mix up we had. The atmosphere is very relaxing. They have music playing and free AC and free wifi! Very chill atmosphere an oasis away from the noise and heat of the downtown strip. I highly suggest!

Amazing little breakfast spot that had great authentic food with tons of tasty flavor. The service and location was great. I highly recommend you check it out on your visit to Isla Mujeres. You will not be disappointed. JUAN who I believe is the manager/owner was just so friendly and welcoming. The staff was amazing and dishes have a very appealing presentation. I would give Ajala Coffee a 100 stars if I could.

Did a quick Google search for what was open at this time of the morning and this guy came right on top 5.0, wow, so I had to check it out. A cute little cafe where we were greeted with a big good morning, sat immediately and introduced himself and provided the menus, everything is spot on service. Oh, my gosh. It couldn't have been better now for the food. Just look at the photos. This food is excellent one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, especially in Mexico where I've had some really good ones. This one knocks it out of the park, these guys know how to make great for food that is fresh. You can taste it and every bite. Here's the thing, this is a cute little cafe surrounded by all these monsters buffet places. I saw people taking a glance at the little cafe and then shaking their heads and saying no to themselves. I'm not sure what they think they're seeing, but they really should walk right in and enjoy. If you're on this island, you must try this place with its great food and coffee's all made to order.

Only four months operating as of 4/25, and Ajal Coffee is striving towards becoming a top contender. A small yet quaint place with exceptionally attentive staff and well prepared food with great presentation. Most important to me is good, strong coffee and unlimited refills.

Little gem of a cafe located at the end of Hidalgo right near North beach. Open early and service with a smile. It’s new so still under the radar but will soon be top breakfast spot. Delicious coffee to go.

Gerson took very good care of us here. 6 tables inside but many outside. The strawberry lemon freshca was the very best thing I have tasted in a long time. It’s nice to be in the air conditioning while eating.

Very nice restaurant, and Juan was very courteous. they have been open 3 weeks, and are on point. The burritos are phenomenal, and fresh. The orange juice is some of the best I’ve ever had. The fruit bowl is amazing and the monkey pancakes were out of this world.
